Did you know that wrapping paper and paper gift bags do not get recycled as they often contain plastic in their shiny surfaces or glitter etc which cannot enter the paper recycling system. Even if you pay extra for ‘eco friendly’ versions the recycling plants cannot distinguish between the two so they all end up in the incinerator or landfill.

Join Zoe from Oodles of Craft to learn some basic sewing machine skills or become more confident with existing skills to make this gift bag from reclaimed or dead stock fabric which can be reused and regifted over and over again reducing the need to purchase wrapping products and thereby reducing the impact on our environment
