Greener & Cleaner Bromley (& Beyond) builds its success on the strength of its members, volunteers and a core team heading various areas of the community group. Have a look at our Organisation Chart for an overview of our teams and wonderful volunteers.
Meet the board:
I’m a working mum living in Shortlands, Bromley. By day I’m a mild mannered media lawyer. By night I run Greener & Cleaner Bromley (& Beyond). I’m passionate about raising awareness and bringing people together to make simple but impactful green changes at a local level. I’m driven by my kids, and all our kids – their wellbeing, now and to come, is in our hands right now.
I’m Clare, the CSO, along with running simplicity-driven Consulting & Coaching businesses, and Trustee roles at a school, Children’s charity, and University SU. I see connections between who we are, what we choose to do, how we live and how we spend our time – making the most of it all to the betterment of ourselves and our communities. Small changes, huge impacts!
I love the wonderful community that we have here in Bromley and neighbouring boroughs. I am an IT Project Manager by trade and feel passionate about learning about sustainability as well as creating partnerships with local community groups and businesses. I volunteer for Greener & Cleaner Bromley (& Beyond), Friends of Widmore Green Spaces and Friend of Bickley Primary School where I am also a governor.
I’m Rachel, I have lived in Petts Wood for six years and, having moved from central London, love the sense of community and all the amazing green space we’re fortunate enough to enjoy here. I’ve worked in Communications for 20 years now, and am passionate about helping as many people as possible feel empowered to make changes that will protect our environment for the future. Alongside volunteering for Greener & Cleaner Bromley, I work for a charity that supports families with disabilities.
