Just one of the things our volunteers say about volunteering with us. As Greener and Cleaner continue to grow we’re looking for great people like you to volunteer to help in a range of areas and skill sets.

Powered by a passionate and ambitious team of changemakers, determined to leave the world in a better place for future generations, our team is a mix of a large number of volunteers and a small number of paid staff. We’re not experts, and don’t expect you to be either. We are all enthusiastic about living greener and cleaner, reducing our own carbon footprint, and helping you to do the same. All while helping cut the cost of living, improve wellbeing and strengthen our community.

Commit to as little as one hour or one shift in The Hub a week, or perhaps holiday cover is more your style? We have a range of opportunities to suit all skill sets.

Can you be the friendly face of Greener and Cleaner?

No previous experience or encyclopaedic knowledge of climate change is needed, just your passion and time. We’re growing fast and looking for excellent people like you to volunteer.

Like meeting people? We need Hub volunteers to make people feel at ease and explain in simple terms how The Hub can help them make small changes in their lives to help fight climate change. Have a look at the job description here.

Got social skills? We’re looking for people who can help moderate our busy and knowledgeable Facebook group community.

Green fingered? We’re looking for people to help with our newly acquired community allotment once a month.

More practical or crafty minded? We’d love you to run a workshop or talk giving tips or sharing your skills with people in our local communities.

Handy with tools? We’re looking for repair technicians to help at our monthly repair cafes.

You’ll be part of a very exciting project that has huge ambitions to provide a blueprint for others to follow in more locations.

But I don’t know much about climate change

Rest assured, you don’t need an encyclopaedic knowledge of climate change or stats and figures. To volunteer in The Hub you need a willingness to help others and listen to them. For other opportunities, you simply need the skills you want to share with us. Like your green fingers or social media abilities.
