Volunteers win recognition of exceptional service

Hub Manager Tamasin with group of volunteers collecting certificate for exceptional service

Volunteers in The Hub from Greener and Cleaner won “recognition for exceptional service” at the Community Links Bromley Volunteer Awards.

Hub Manager, Tamasin Rhymes, entered the dedicated team as a thank you for all the hard work they put in. Shortlisted for the “Volunteer Team of the Year” award, several of the team attended the ceremony on a very hot evening in June.

Tamasin said, “It was a great event and a privilege to be there with some of the team”.

The Hygiene Bank team were very worthy winners of the Team of the Year award. Greener and Cleaner Hub volunteers were awarded a certificate, presented by Bromley Buzz, recognising their exceptional service and the help they contribute as volunteers.

Not all of the volunteers who help in The Hub were present, there’s a huge team who give up their time to man The Hub and keep it open for events, workshops and 121 advice on living greener and cleaner. Check the opening times if you’d like to visit and chat to one of our superb team in The Hub.

There are also a huge number of volunteers in other roles throughout Greener and Cleaner. If you’ve got skills you can share with us, we’d love to have you join our volunteer team. Find out more about volunteering here.

Volunteers, we couldn’t do what we do without you, thank you for being with us! Special congratulations to The Hub team on their certificate.
